I include IP and referrer in any responses so I can see who/what posted, and so I can follow up, and every time there is a spam post, send a complaint - don't just delete it. When ever we get a spam 'hit' we ALWAYS report them to thier ISP/hosting company. They probably lost too many connections by hitting mine :) It is no good just deleting the spam. Get an IP and follow through with a full complaint to thier ISP. Yes they may have used a proxy or even used a zombied machine. But in that case the zombied machine owner gets to know about it, so still a job well done. I know why my sites (5 domains) are on this list.
